Well hasn't this caused a storm. POOR MBR!!!. We stayed there in October 2005 for two weeks and found it wonderful. Our kids at the time were 11 & 9 and they made friends the very first day. We stayed in the old section closest to the beach, I think 1121 or 1122. The rooms were huge in Balinese style and the kid's had a seperate area/ bedroom to themselves. We have stayed in very expensive rooms around the world and yet we felt extremely comfortable and relaxed with our accommodation. We are going back again in May of this year and hope to get the same room. The main pool was crystal clear for the entire time with the only draw back was a lack of pool chairs to use.
Food, HOW CAN YOU EVALUATE THAT FOR OTHER PEOPLE!!!. We had breakfast every morning and found it fine. Once again we got there early. Overall the MBR was great and we found the staff extremely friendly and very helpful. Remember "if people are nice, people are nice/friendly in return".
Have a great holiday. My only advice is to get one of the old style Delux rooms closest to the beach. They have great personal balconies that one can siton, enjoy a Bintang and reflect on what a wonderful day they have just had.
