Anyone at BGH or going soon?

I have heard that there are renovations starting soon involving the hotel & pool. Problem is I have a room booked for later this year. I have contacted the BGH to find out when the builders move in but they are remaining tightlipped and won't respond to emails. Could anyone who is currently there approach the management /staff and find out more details. This would be much appreciated as I have been caught up in renovations before.
