There are large number of villas in Bali offered for rent for many years. Please be aware of the problems with privately managed villas: often maintenance is very sporadic done (only when the foreign owner visits the island), staff are not properly trained and sloppy as they feel they report only to the owner but not to his/her guests or any local management, and there are often staff shortages as if some of them take off (because of holidays, sickness, accidents or just a mood) there is nobody to replace them.

Balivillas.com is operating all its villas (including maintenance, staff etc) not because we wanted to do this -- it's much easier just to do the marketing and not have any responsibilities during guests' stay. But we found out this is the only way to guarantee the quality of maintenance and service our guests expect.

Right now we employ nearly 20 office staff and over 160 villa and guest service staff including chefs, cooks, maids, house boys, gardeners, security guards and private butlers. Therefore, if somebody has an accident, has to leave for a holiday or gets sick, we replace him/her immediately and as a guest you won't miss anything.

Therefore, we don't even compete with any privately managed (or not managed) properties. We offer a different product, and we believe service and good food are a very important part of your holiday experience.

Enjoy your stay!
