Try Bali Hai Hotel as they have a jewellery shop in there. They used to be one in Kuta square.
What ever you purchase you'll expect it to be double in Australia.
Make sure you barter with them aswell, keep telling them its more than you wanted to pay, that usally works very well.
My husband purchased my engagement ring about 8 years ago in Bali and it was valued here in Aust for more than double what he paid in Bali and the valuer was very impressed with the quality and cut of the diamonds.
A year later he purchased another ring for me 1 point 3 carats and it was valued in Aust 3 times the price he purchased in Bali.
It safe to say you'll will expect to pay around $2500.00 - $3000.00 for any thing that is of good quality however once again it depends on the size of the diamonds and the cut.
Pick a good engagement ring as its the only one you'll get, my husband hasn't purchased anymore rings since the last one in 2000, he says I have small fingers and no more will fit, I tell him you buy them and I'll find the room on my fingers.
Good Luck.
Hope this helps
