we now fly business class whenever we go to Bali and have been totally spoilt by it.
no queuing at check in, in to the qantas lounge prior to flight, nice roomy seats in the plane in the pointy end, more toilets for less people, more staff, usually edible food, get off the plane there first, and on the way back its the same.
the extra luggage allowance is great, and I usually take extra for the Bali Street dogs.
I would continue to pay the extra for the Garuda flight over and did a price comparison with starclass and it was only about $80 cheaper.
its not as cheap as it was previously but I believe the perks are worth it, we are having trips from Bali on Air Asia so that should be a real eye opener but none of them are long flights and they were free !!!
