I don't think you can actually cancel the accomodation, as the hotel loses out if they don't get their voucher. You don't need to actually stay there, but from what I've read on the forum here in the past people have booked a minimum package, dropped the vouchers into the hotel and then moved on to the hotels they've arranged themselves.
