if your only thinking of bringing in a small amount may be worth checking out existing Bali shops in Perth - in case it works out that after paying all frieght and customs etc can be cheaper buying off a local Bali shop as they may be buying in bulk and getting a much cheaper price than you can.
meet an old English fellow (married to a Javanese lady) at Waterbom park who said he had a furniture factory in Java and exported all over the world including to his son in Perth who sells it by auction out of the container - so look in the auction section of the Perth paper in case he is still doing it
