interesting scales

Hi All.just go back saturday.Had a wonderful time as usual.Flew Jetstar .
Suitcase weighed in at 21.9k ,the lady made me take some stuff out and i carried it onboard with me, go figure.The suitcase then weighed 21.3k.I flew to Melbourne via sydney and when i rechecked in for demestic my suitcase weighed 19.3k.wow that means the scales in bali checkin are maybe 2k's out.Now i wonder how that happens??
