hi gayle,
stayed overnight at coconuts beach resortin october.
the fastest way to get there is the ocean flyer, about 45 minutes.
we went with island explorer cruises.
paid $100 each person for boat ride there and back,
room overnight,free lunch on arrival (good),free breakfast,water activities and air con transfers to and from your hotel.
we loved the whole experience.
hired motor scooters for 24 hours 100 00 rup or $15,
explored the island , no helmut, no license needed, no cars, no police.went to dream beach for a beer and swim.
hired a boat from village and went snorkling at the wall at penida
and crystal bay . awesome.
