Hi Gayle

These are some options to get to Nusa Lembongan. The prices may have gone up, but it will give you a bit of an idea.

The Perama
A traditional large Jukung with comfortable seats, life jackets and weather proofing.
Leaves Sanur Beach at 10:30 am and costs Rp. 70,000.

The Public Boat
Much more basic than the Perama but the way most islanders make the crossing! (as well as the livestock!)
I've watched the passengers have to jump off into waist deep water holiding their belongings over their heads when disembarking at Sanur.
Leaves Sanur Beach at 8:00 am and costs Rp. 50,000.

Scoot Boat
A fast, comfortable speed boat that holds up to 20 passengers. It gets across to the island in about 40 minutes. Leaves Sanur Beach at 9:30 am and 4:00 pm. Scoot costs Rp. 150,000 one way or Rp 250,000 return.

These all leave from North Sanur, with access from Jl Hang Tuah. (Turn right into Jl Hang Tuah where the big KFC is on the Bypass road if you are coming from the south.)

You can also go on "The Bounty", which leaves from Benoa Harbour and is US$15 each, one way. I think it leaves about 10.00am.

We will be staying for five days in September and we plan to do lots of snorkelling, exploring, getting to know the locals as well as plenty of relaxing, eating and a bit of drinking thrown is as well. I can almost taste those cocktails now!

Have a great holiday
