Just got back from Rama and would thoroughly recommend. Yes they have a swim up bar and prices are quite reasonable(not as good as on the street but not out of reach). We had lunch by the pool a few days and it did not break the bank. We didn't have any meals at the restaurant (other than breaky that was included) so can't comment on their prices. The pool area is wonderful and never had a problem obtaining pool lounges. The staff are terrific - say hello to Chris at the swim up bar for us - he made our stay. We were in 2 deluxe rooms 268 and 269 and these were good. Friends did say that the standard rooms are pretty ordinary but if you can afford or are lucky enough for an upgrade the villas are out of this world. Hope this helps - we definitely enjoyed our stay...
