Yes of course they can and will carry your few extra kilos,just expect to pay for them.You are allowed 20 kilos per person in the cost of your ticket if you buy too much and have extra weight it is your problem not the airlines,they are running a business and have every right to charge you for ANYTHING over the contracted weight,if you dont like this policy dont book a ticket.
