For our first child Phenergan was wonderful - Perth to Mackay a blissful slumber for her. For our second child Phenergan is like pure red cordial - we tried it on flight to sydney. he wanted to sleep but when he felt himself drift off he would snap back to reality and be livelier than ever - not good when in an infant basinet on a qantas flight.
Our flight Perth - Bali was different. We used Dramamine Junior. It is a Travel sickness micture but can cause drowsiness. He slept there and back and had no hyper reactions. It may be he suffered a little travel sickness but this is what our local pharmacist suggested to calm him down when flying as an alternative to Phenergan.
