Been to Bali many times and bought lots of pearls over the years. Best place by far is the Ruby Star, Suci Plaza No 3. Denpasar. Same block as the Gold shops on the left hand side. Just get a cab and ask for the gold market. Pearls of many types and colours. Can be made to order and strung while you wait. Lots of interesting gemstones and coral necklaces. Extremely cheap.
