Spent our 2nd week in Bali there, got back a week ago. Pretty good. There are "Bungalows" and hotel rooms. Former sleep 4 or more, latter 2. We were in a hotel room. Small block - about 30 rooms on 4 stories. Good room and bathroom. We were ground floor; lovely grounds. Pool very good, no beach, always strong breeze in afternoon which we enjoyed. Restaurant OK - pricey as always compared to town. Breakfast for time share 40K rupiah each. Had buffet first 3 days with chef cooking omelettes etc to order. Then numbers low so to ordering from menu - still good same price.
Hotel is about 1km+ west of start of town plus 0.5 km to main road so quite a walk in heat. Transport to & from 10 am/ noon. Best to find a restaurant you want to visit on first day - ring then they pick you up and return you for no charge. Else 20K for taxi.
Recommend Restaurants; Bali Bagus (our favourite), Queens, Raja, Vincents.
If you want, large Bintang beer at hotel 38K, Halfway to main road (5 mins) 17K, on main road (10 mins) 13K.
