I recommend the Jayakarta over the Melasti in terms of nicer grounds, cleanliness and pools. I don't think you can be guaranteed having pool front rooms however.
The new(er)wing at the MBR may be better as they have interconnecting rooms and the ground floor rooms are on the pool section.
