Hi everyone. This is a two in one JBR. We were over there in November and had an absolute ball. We discovered the bliss of foot relexology and it was heaven. We found a great shop in the discovery mall. It was 55,000 for an hour. The name of the shop is Linx (I think) We enjoyed 16 days of total relaxation. We stayed at the Ramada and splurged on a suite for the entire time. It was great to talk to the girls on the beach and treat them to treats during the stay. I am not a big shopper so I like to contribue in someway that will assist them. I will admit that it was very quiet in Bali.
Just on Christmas we got some awful news. My best friends in Bali whom I have known for over 17 years had some devasting news their daughter of 12 years had suffered a brain hemorage and was brain dead. Wow, what an impact that had on us. We were there in November for her 12th Birthday celebrations so it was just so hard to imagine how this could happen. The little tiger's heart kept going and she passed away on the 7th January. We were able to get a flight out via Perth to make it for the funeral. It was a very emotional time for all involved and to see the community rally together to help my friends was amazing. They are Catholic and the whole process was nothing like I imagined. It just makes you realise that every day is a precious day and you should live it to the max!
During our two trips I have to say that I did notice how many Russians are now visiting the island. I have to say that 70% of them would have to be the most rudist people I have come across and I know that sounds harsh. But the way they treated the Balinese was terrible and infact I could not hold my tounge in line one day!

Oh before I finish. I did have a bad experience with Anika Tailors (Tuban)whilst I was there. I had dresses made there in November. Two of the dresses had major complications with the material when we came home. I took them back again or our recent trip and the tailor called me a liar and said that I had caused the damage to the material. That I did not take to lightly so I if anyone is thinking of using them please think again and they also charge like wounded bulls!
