thanks everyone, did a bit more of a look on jetstars site and it would only be about $80 cheaper using Jetstar starclass vs Garuda business class.
for that much money I would rather go Garuda !!! I know I can get extra allowance to take supplies for the Street dog people and know the service will be good.
