we stayed there for 2 weeks in Sept/Oct '05 and loved it. We were in the deluxe Garden Chalet rooms and we had the club benefits which we thought were worthwhile as we only ate one meal out each day etc. You'll love it. It's very central, Loji Supermarket is right behind Padma so you can stock up on cheap beer, snacks etc. Drops restaurant and other lovely places to eat are right nearby. Pool is lovely - try going for a swim at night! The Japanese restaurant there is fantastic - but expensive. The nightly cocktail hour(s) are good too with a variety of free cocktails and canapes for 2 hours. Afternoon tea is nice. Best of all are the breakfasts! Staff in club rooms and reception are lovely. Hope this all helps.
