Have stayed at Jayakarta 3 times great location great pools and view. Have visited friends at Garden View but this is a big hike to the beach so I if the budget allows stay on the beach definitely. Have also visited friends at K Pantai which looked really good but the big white statues of horses everywhere were a bit off putting and the pool is a fair way back from the beach.
The Jayakarta is used by lots of Aussies so the kids always seem to make friends and have heaps to do. Table tennis, 3 pools, tennis courts and big grounds. We are a family of four and stay in 2 standard rooms near the tennis courts. Adjourning rooms are available and are newer near the restaurant. This hotel has a great view and drinks at sunset with the bongos are a must. We are back at the Jayakarta in May and booking direct with the hotel if you need the details. Good Luck!
