in KL? Nina,I am arriving 7th Feb but for 3 weeks until the 27th.
Re the restaurants.Have you tried Cafe Pantai on the beach? We love it there, although sometimes there's mixed reviews. Great for the little ones to play in the sand if the tide is low, whilst you watch the sunset with cocktail in hand(LOL), but be sure to take some mozzie spray as they seem to be a bit of a nuisance there. Doesn't stop us though as we eat there a lot.
Lots of forumites like the more upmarket Ma Jolly, but the main complaint seems to be too little food for too much money! Not actually tried it ourselves.
My favourite restaurant is actually in Tuban, so not that far away. It's the Kin Khao, which features delicious Thai cuisine.
The Gracie Kelly Bar/Bistro at the Dynasty Hotel also has a nice selection of dishes, with some Irish meals featured and often a band playing, with a good atmosphere & friendly staff.Prices aren't too over the top either.
Bubba Gumps, just down the road a little from the Dynasty, is a themed restaurant(Forrest Gump movie) and worth a visit for the shrimps & other seafood.
Anyway, I'm sure someone else will be able to give you some Jimbaran based recommendations.Maybe check out past postings too.
Have a great holiday in Bali.
