We have only just got home from spending 16 days in Darwin & we absolutely loved every minute of it.We certainly never ran out of things to do & there were still a couple of places we didn't get to.I enjoyed it so much I am even thinking of going back on my own for a quick trip in about 3 1/2 weeks in order to be there for 65th anniversary commemorations.
If you or anyone else is thinking about going to Darwin or the Top End & would like some hints from a recent tourists point of view just drop me an email & I'll be glad to help.Personally I'd suggest hiring a car is a better way to go than doing tours.
