Patra Jasa is a fantastic resort. We stayed there with our kids when they were similar ages (5 & 7) but this was a few years ago, before the Patra was renovated. Have since walked through & noted their absolutely fantastic Kids Club (wish it had been so fantastic when we stayed!) The children seem so secure in the new Kids Club & have their own enclosed pool area which is separate to the building itself. Staff seem so lovely. Rooms are varied so do your research. Suggest you request a room not too far from main pool/s, beach area as some are a fair way away. Having said that, it is gorgeous.... some people organise their weddings there as the view poolside overlooking beach is glorious.
It is not the Legian end, as you had suggested, but definitely worthy of your consideration via it's website.
PS. Walked through the Melasti a couple of weeks ago & was not overly impressed.... looked rather tired & was not impressed with the clientle I witnessed there at that time.
