Yes tha April school holidays are why the prices are right up there, we have been to Bali several times with our children on easter holidays but we now opt for dates out of this period of time due to the savings.
Can only suggest from experience of staying at the Dynasty, Jayakarta and Bali Garden with our 2 children on occasions; would be to take in consideration how much the hotel bill adds up to after 12 nights.
The dynasty is a lot more expensive for drinks and food but the jayakarta and Bali Garden bills at the end of our stay with the kids was a REAL saving compared to the Dynasty. Maybe because at the Dynasty you can tend to eat inside the resort a lot more for dinner when you have kids and at the Bali Garden and the Jayakarta we always opted to eat somewhere different each night as there were plenty of nice cheap restaurants close by to choose from and I liked dining out at different places. The kids do tend to drink and snack a lot in the hot weather (and so do us adults)and it all adds up at the end of the stay.
The Jayakarta is great! and we also enjoyed the Bali Garden with it's location directly across from Waterbom and next door to Centro also the beachfrontage at BGH is great and the Family Rooms are spacious.
You have chosen quite a few different locations. I'd be looking at what location you personally prefer to stay in and go from there. Also if you've only got quotes from this one agent pick your best preference of accomodation and get more quotes elsewhere.
Good luck and happy holidaying!
