the answer is no to both those questions. I am not familiar with what Rotary is able to provide.
With so many children now sponsored 350 +, I would think resources would be stretched to the hilt. Helen, along with her small team on the ground in Bali do an extraordinary job. I know how busy the administration, and liasion with sponsors keeps her. Well it keeps her out of too much mischief anyway! :-)
I believe that most of the sponsored children through the HFF are up in the top 10% of their classes. They appreciate the opportunity afforded them being a part of the sponsorship programme and endeavor to their very best at school.
I know you are going to visit your sponsor child Le and I know you will be overwhelmed upon meeting with the family. To see how the other half lives is a humbling experience. I remember the brother of the child I sponsor sobbing in my arms and thanking me for making it possible for his sister to attend school. It is something I will never forget.
