I am getting a bit old I reckon becuse the stairs at Tjampuhan now put me off staying there (also no TV is off putting for my hisband who doesn't read much!). We stayed in a Raja room about two years ago and were a bit disappointed with the darkness but the size was great. also had to request a mini fridge but I hear they are in all rooms now. The spa at river level is an absolute must to visit. American dollar charges but still quite reasonable and the surroundings are fantastic.
There is a beauty salon called Lingghi Ning on the opposite side of the road and a little further UP the hill - grat massage services and very reasonable prices. Please feel free to say Bapak Mike sent you!
