For your budget of accommodation I highly reccomend Bali Garden Hotel it's in a top location in Tuban and is next door to Kartika Plaza Shopping Centre which is a new shopping centre in Tuban (worth a look). It is also opposite Waterbom Park; and yes definately go there you'll have a great day out and it's fun for all ages as there's something to suit all and be sure to hire a cabanna for the day at Waterbom.
As for copy dvd's handbags, t-shirts etc..yes they are everywhere.
