You have to count your money in front of them when they put it on the counter. Last week the Kodak shop between Dynasty and Kartika Plaza tried twice to rip us off. Once we counted it together and as we said 100,000Rp short she took it off her lower counter, snatched the money back from us and recounted it including the missing 100k. The next time as I was getting to the end of my count and realising I was 20k short she picked it up off her counter and slapped it onto my counter. Just be careful and you will be ok.
