we stayed at Padma in Sep/Oct 2005 when the 2nd bombing happened. Prior to the bomb, Padma was at 90% occupancy - there was never an issue with queue's for breakfast. The only problem with chairs by pool was that some people bagged them from sunrise and didn't use them until later in the day - this was only a minor annoyance, and we always found seats.
The breakfast at the Padma is the best I've every had. We like the one in the main part, but also at BellaRosa if you have the Club benefits - it's a wonderful way to start the day on the rooftop terrace, watching the beach come alive, enjoying a scrumptious breakfast.
