I did have grommets put in first a few years ago as my tubes were too small......but he then told me to
Take Zytec (green box)from chemist, one a day for 4 days before travel both ways.
Take a cortisone nasal spray (script)which cost $44 but I happily paid it.
I also buy a green balm in Bali that comes in a tiny weeny container that i carry in my hand bag and sniff it so much that i think I am going to inhale the whole container up my nose....I think that I have a spare one and will mail to you if you would like it.
On top of that I also chew air ways gum.
I no longer cry in pain or go deaf.
I think a visit to a ENT specialist may be in order for you M.
