Island has great snorkelling.
Stay a night or two at Pemuteran, about 15 mins drive from the departure point.
You will walk out on a shallow rock shelf, and there is a drop off into clear deep blue water, and you swim along the wall.
Your guide may also take you to the other side of the Island to snorkle from the boat.
You can see Java just across the Straits from this spot.
