If you get what you pay for and stay in a executive cottage, it is very nice accommodation. Staff extremely friendly (or at least 90% are), it is close to beach and not far from main shopping areas.
Bad side for us, poor hygiene as mentioned, first time to Bali our family was on and off sick. Meats in baymaries should be avoided as should the plates near the egg man, they were crawling with cockroaches...
And unless you just eat toast or egg, food real tasteless.
Would I stay again....Not sure, probably no.
