2005. The steps to the rooms on the upper level (the best views in my opinion) are not 'bali' steps, more graduated and quite manageable. Lovely staff and food, very relaxing place Lipah, no beach hawkers and a few other hotels down the road that you can stroll to for lunches or dinners if you want somewhere different to eat for a change. There are small warungs that sell cold drinks as there were no fridges in the rooms but the views makes up for that. You can also arrange a small local boat to take you down along the coast a few willages away for snorkelling (ask the kitchen lady - her husband Danny is happy to arrange this) or you can snorkell out front. Nice pool, I think it may have been salt water, all the same depth, if you take a photo at the right angle you can get a good horizon pool shot with the bay in the background. A pleasant place to stay that is different from a 'larger' impersonal hotel.
