Hi, it was me that suffered with the rats in the roof of my room and unable to sleep. The 2nd room they gave me was fine, having lived in Darwin for 30 odd years I realise this type of thing is part of living in the tropics. It was a nuisance but having said that I would probably stay there again as the location is goodo. On the down side for a single traveller having breakfast served to your room was ok but a bit lonely if you wanted to chat and meet other guests in a restaurant situation.
