Haven't done quads but have done buggies. Great day. Meet plenty of kids along the way so go to Makro and buy a big drum of chuppa chups to hand out. Plenty of high fives from the kids. We booked buggies and white water rafting together on the same day which cost us 1 995 000 Rp for two of us, this included transport, lunch and insurance. We booked through Nyoman at Bali Sightseeing which is located out the front of Pandan on Jalan Kartika Plaza. The white water rafting was on the Ayung River. Loads of steps to get down to river and then back up but worth it. From memory quads is actually a little cheaper than buggies as buggies are newer.
A couple of great cheap places to eat near the Bounty are Rainbow Cafe which is opposite the front entrance of the Bounty and also Enhay Cafe. When you come out the front of the Bounty turn left up Poppies 2 towards Jalan Legian. A little way up there is a lane to the left (Jalan Benesari) go down here through dog leg and you will find Enhay cafe on the right.
Other suggestions of what to do would be Waterbom Park - great day out at any age. If you are really adventurous you could try seawalking. Website is www.bali-clubaqua.com haven't tried myself but looks interesting. Sure you will find plenty to do. Bounty always have activities on offer as well.
