There is a group of restaurants at the end of Jalan Double 6, turn left at the bottom of the road, this area is known as Blue Ocean Beach, Zanzibar as mentioned before is great, next door to that is the Lanai, Restaurant Italia is good pizza & Italian in a lovely garden setting and Seaside is the last restaurant in this group & serves great food & cocktails, these restaurants all overlook the beach & are great on a Sunday night at sunset when lots of locals come down to the beach, they have drumming & fire dancing so it has a very buzzy atmosphere.
We usually pack our bags on departure go & have a great meal somewhere (driver is happy to wait & look after the bags) go straight to the airport (later rather than earlier) - get on the plane & do not bother with the food as it is too late & go straight to sleep & wake up at your destination.
