As a lot of you may or may not know, we have our on High Pressure Water Cleaning business.
Here I am on Thursday morning talking to my husband trying to organise a trip to Adelaide for the Australia Day Long weekend, who said I can't make it, I might have to work, so you go by yourself. I say no, don't want to go without you, he said, no you go. I said oh okay if you insist.
Well it wasn't meant to be; at about 10.30am on Thursday morning I get a phone from my son, saying that dad has just fallen from a 5 metre building, and is not in a good way.
Things were pretty scary, not knowing what the damage was, after several x-rays, scans, it turns out he has managed to break all his ribs on the right hand side, with multiple breaks, lacerations and severed bruising to his lungs.
At the moment he is still on the Morphine drip (some people have all the luck)
And also on the oxygen mask, as his breathing is very shallow.
He did however manage today to get out of bed have a shower and a shave (nurse kermy helped), which knocked him around a fair bit, but in saying that, it was great he managed to do it.
At the moment we are taking each day as it comes.
