Even my grandmother could have done the bike ride! Was mostly downhill as others have stated. A lot of the time, we just sat & rolled downhill, enjoying the cooling breeze as we gathered speed. There was a bit of an uphill toward the end, but you are offered a seat in the van that follows the bikes (carrying ice cold water) at any time.
Wayan is very negotiable with price (as he was with our family of 4)so am confident you could negotiate a reduced price if you chose to be driven whilst others rode.
