Also have Proxl and discovered mine worked in Aust about 18 months ago. When I have sent sms and checked the credit it works out to 4000rp per sms, but that was a while ago so maybe roaming has gone up.

At the moment Optus prepaid doesn't work in Indonesia but it does in a number of other countries. I checked their website about 6-8 weeks ago and Indonesia still wasnt listed. Thailand and Vietnam amongst others are though.

I vaguely recall someone here posting quite a while ago that their Telstra pre-paid does work over there. cheers :-)
