If you are going to buy some before you go the best place to go is the duty free shop on the corner of Barrack and Murrays streets in town.It is upstairs and the prices are a lot cheaper than the DF shope in Hay St.
i bought 2 bottles of Jim Beam at $15 each and 2 ctns of Horizon smokes at $19.
At Hay st stores Jim Beam was $29 each and the smokes were $42 each. The beam was in 1125ml bottles. So spent $68 and saved $74!!!!!
Its amazing how the prices can vary so much at duty free shops in Perth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also on leaving Bali they had 1000ml bottles of Beam and if you buy one you get 30% of the second and it came to US$20 which worked out to about $25 aussie which is about $12.50 a bottle so i had to buy some as well LOL.
