is in my families book best because there are easy reef breaks just a short boat ride (or a long paddle) from the beach front hotels.we stay at the ramada bintang hotel.the fishermen on the beach are friendly,they just about became babysitters?? for our teenage sons while we went walkabout.they took them fishing and surfing on the reef all day and showed us around some nights.they didnt want to do anything else.talk about cheap entertainment...whatever you do,dont pay their first asking price,always barter with them,they dont mind.also tuban is on the airport side of the kuta gridlock,not far from uluwatu,bingin,dreamland etc,world class lefthand reefbreaks at that time of year.dont forget booties!
