food to Bali... we took everything when our guys were younger - food, snacks, NAPPIES - it all got used, therefore more room for stuff to come home and the nappies worked wonders in keeping the surfboards extra padded. From our experience, there isn't that much in the range of jar food, we found a lot of mushed up carrot in jars which looked awful - this was only in mid 2005.
There is also lots over there too, depending on where your little one is up to on the food front. There are hot chips, bread, lots of yummy fruit which you can mash up if need be, milkshakes, ice creams, pancakes - we found taking some snacks from home that our kids loved was good, just in case they needed a fix from home too.
