Back in 2004, I did buy $A100 of coins from an airport employee after checking that they all had the milled edge of Oz $2 coins. They were all Oz coins.
Last month I was offered Oz coins again. I said no, as I did not want them and buying the coins only perpetuates the scam.
I noticed the other day in Australia, that there are a few 500 Rp coins circulating here fooling the unwary.
