I have the same problem but mine is rheumtoiditist (sorry not sure how to spell it). When in Bali last Oct/Nov I had three rings enlarged at the jeweller at the Bali Hai Resort in Tuban (they also have a shop in the Bali Rani)and I aksed them about cutting my engagement and wedding rings off and they said they could do it. As we were leaving that day I said next trip. The only problem was I wasn't sure if they could do it at the shop or I would have had to go to their workshop.
