After 3.5 weeks in Bali for another xmas and new years eve - we arrived home yesterday morning.

Staff at MBR were exceptional and made our hotel - a real home away from home. Girls at the the MBR Spa again - equally as good. Sad news is Emma and Ana are both moving on (going to a hotel in Guam), but Made (who does super good massages) is still there.
After 7 trips to Bali - we did some touristy things as a couple of our friends who are first timers to Bali came with us. Using our Driver we did the elephants, monkies and birds in one day. My son and I did the cycling (Bintang Mountains Cycles thank U Gusti. Did lots and lots of relaxing - some shopping ( much better after 3th of jan when prices dropped slightly after the domestic tourists went home).
Restaurants - definitely Indonational for their lobster! Poppies, Kudeta,Laines, Zanzibar, Bacci, Dejevu, Warung Yogya, and by far my favouritest restaurant in all of Bali ( I think we ate there for 5 lunches and at least 5 dinners!!) SEASIDE.
Shopping - kids scored lots of clothes, kuta kids, mataharis, fairy shop in Utara Padma near Niksoma, Putu Tailor in Utara Padma, Legian Markets.Talent Silver in Jalan Legian - in Legian - awesome homewares...really good prices and lovely guys.....

Beach walks every morning (even in the rain!!!) I love walking in Bali :0)
Did Waterbom twice - once on 2/1 and again on 11/1. Second time was much better as there were less people there.

Ugly Australians...you know the ones - it makes you ashamed to be australians!! Bogans in Bali!!! the ones that tell shopkeepers to get f*&ked etc...The ones that throw beer bottles in the hotel pools for kids to cut themselves on.....SHAME BOGANS SHAME!! Or even worse - the one I screamed at in Jalan Melasti - who kicked at an 11yo boy who was out begging - idiot...
Rude Ruskis...Russian tourists with no manners - at the elephant park - pushing and shoving, at waterbom - jumping queues infront of little kids.... Russian Bogans!!!! You may have money - but you have no culture and no manners!!
Expats with wanky dogs... - seriously there are 1000s of dogs in Bali that could be adopted, but importing expensive bourgeoisie dogs for their paid dog walkers to walk up and down Seminyak each day - Puleeeeze....
The worse thing about my trip to bali....having to come home *Sniff*...
oh well only 355 days till I go back next time :0)
