A lot of people obtain 'dodgy' licences which for all intensive purposes can be passed off as legit. Just one big thing to keep in mind. If you have an accident and you don't actually have a motor cycle licence here in Australia, you will not be covered by travel insurance.
A foolhardy gamble to take given medi-vac can cost around $50K AUD. There is always some fool willing to take the chance. One day their number might come up and then I imagine they will be full of regret.
Personal choice naturally, just be aware of the pitfalls. cheers :-)
