I find Denpasar cheap but I don''t enjoy looking through the dark shops - its like 50 or 60 garrges in a row that are the length of 10 garages.
Last few times I have bought at Everest or the nicest place is Alta Moda - it even has designer fabrics - located Istana Kuta Galeria
