Quickest way as mentioned by Richard is to take the road strtaight over the mountain via Lake Bedugul.
Couple of things to be aware of. The road is very steep and windy. Our kids have suffered motion sickness on occassions with a driver that turned it into a race. Hati Hati (slowly slowly) If you get stuck behind a slow moving truck or bus, beware of breathing in their diesel fumes. You can get stuck behind them for a considerable length of time as their is no passing lanes. Single lane and the equivelent of double white lines all the way. So make sure your vehicle a/c is working. Now when you get to Lovina, treat yourself to a sunset sitting at the Sea Breeze Cafe
