past six months. PLease do not worry you wil be o.k. and all that money you have saved YOU can SPEND IN BALI!
Flew from Padang West Sumatra to Singapore ( Aug 2006) and back again. Very comfortable flight, no frills- have to pay for your own food. That is right about the seating, but it definitely did not present any problems for me. I am only 159 cms tall.
On Tiger you can get a very very comfortable seat, but it is at the exit area so you have to agree to follow the emergency procedure and take the exit panel off and throw it away if the plane goes down.
I agreed, but luckily didn't have to.
Have flown Airasia once from Medan to Penang in Oct 2006 and found the flight without problems and comfortable for me. But once again the flight was only a short one like the Tiger flight.
Happy Flying.
Pamela.
