You're exactly right in that they go to orphans mainly, but a few to the old folks home eventually. The idea of decoration is simply to make them visually identifiable so each of the kidz knows which is theirs after its been washed or if there's been a pillow fight. Decoration can be whatever you like and has varied to a small map showing your country and home town, a stiched on bow or ribbon stripe, iron on stuff from material stores (although many of these are not too durable) ar drawings and messages written in washproof inks. If you can think of other means just have a go.
In Bali they can be left with Mr Made the Front Office Manager at the Balihai Resort in Tuban or with Haaris or Nina or their staff at the BaliCyber Cafe in Legian/Kuta where you can get a great meal or snack and use the quick internet connections they have there.
If you would like to take them to an orphanage yourself then you can e-mail me and I will suggest places to go depending on how many you have so that no-one misses out. You can buy pillows at Makros in Bali.
Many thanks for caring about these kids.
